Chief Executive Officer
Ram Chilukuri is one of SemanticBits co-founders. He is an experienced and highly trained J2EE architect and developer, and is well regarded within the cancer community for his extensive knowledge of, and insightful approach to, metadata and bioinformatics. Mr. Chilukuri is also a strong business and team leader, who enjoys a track record of successfully managing multi-million dollar application development projects using open source technologies, agile processes, and model driven design.
Patrick McConnell
Vice President of Biomedical Informatics
Patrick McConnell has worked in bioinformatics for the last 10 years, with experience in software development, software architecture, and project management.  He has extensive experience in the Cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid project (caBIG), including participation and development in the clinical trials, bioinformatics, architecture, and semantics domains.
Edmond Mulaire
Vice President of Project Management
Edmond Mulaire has a strong background in project management, software development, and business analysis. He is a PMI, Oracle, and Scrum Alliance certified project manager, and has led a number of successful, high profile engagements in both the federal and commercial sectors.
Vinay Kumar
Chief Operating Officer
Vinay Kumar is a SemanticBits co-founder. He is a senior software architect and a lead developer with thirteen years of experience in information technology industry. He has worked in a wide spectrum of industries and gained valuable experience in the field of software development. Mr. Kumar's creative vision of solving large enterprise problems has proven to be cost effective and scalable, contributing extensivley to the bioinformatics domain.
Joshua Philips
Vice President of Software Engineering & Development
Joshua Phillips has worked as a software engineer, primarily in the area of life sciences, for the last seven years. His work to build open-source tools that facilitate the construction of interoperable systems using a model-driven approach helped propel the National Cancer Institute Center for Bioinformatics (NCICB) to a position of technical leadership, both nationally and internationally, and helped lay the ground work for the Cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid (caBIG) initiative.
